My Red-Headed Hottie…

My red-headed hottie is going to tackle 100 workouts with me.   

He’s been by my side for every single one of the 100lbs I’ve lost to date.

He continues to cheer me on….especially as I heal from surgery. I feel like I’m starting from that 250lb point, but he reminds me that Carol doesn’t exist any more.

So my chin is up. My game face is on. My red-headed hottie is by my side and TOGETHER we are going ALL IN #100.

Anyway, it’s going to be tons of fun with a DJ, great variety of workout styles and there are plenty of rest days. Best part, they are only 20-30 minutes a day. Wake up, get your workout done and go about your day. BAM! I’m ready.

Conquer, Transform and Renew!

Another new year! Another opportunity for a clean slate to conquer, transform and renew yourself. The gyms will be packed for a few weeks as people hop back on the resolution train. I’m so glad I stick to my programs year rounds. Do you?

I know I’m not perfect. I take a few days off here and there, but for the most part, I’m pretty consistent. My accountability groups help me stay focused. I’d be lost with out them.

Excuses, excuses.

Well. I had all the excuses running through my head this morning. Ever let those excuses win? They almost did, but I’m competitive and couldn’t let that happen.

Here were my top 3⃣ excuses this morning:

🖓I have 0⃣ energy
🖓I’m too sore from yesterday’s workout
🖓I’ll be teaching fitness classes tonight so why bother

Well too bad 🐥. Get off your duff and get moving. Challenge those muscles and work through the soreness. That’s how you get stronger. So what if you are teaching tonight. That workout is for them, not you. Your personal workouts matter. Getting that sweat on gives you energy. Quit making excuses and get it done…..so I did. And, guess what?

I’m not sore anymore. I worked on me so class will be all about them. Oh, now I’m zipping around the house feeling energized for the day. excuses
